We support people through major changes with their health, fitness, and nutrition by supporting them and holding them accountable with a focus on community and relationships. I’ve always been drawn to fitness. I remember as a young girl when I ran in my first track meet. I felt so empowered and free. Physical activity was a definite escape from the memories and feelings I was experiencing from some early childhood trauma. I share that to let you know that being fit and healthy is more than just a number on the scale. It’s a stress reliever, an endorphin booster, and a mood regulator. It keeps me grounded and feeling whole. It can do the same for you if you let it.
I have a BA in Psychology, a Masters in Social Work, and my license (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). I’ve spent a good part of my career helping children and families and more recently veterans. I enjoy that work, but also have this passion for helping people improve their health and fitness.
I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 15 years. I’m a Certified in Personal Training with ACE (American Council of Exercise) and NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine) and a Certified Group Exercise Instructor with AFAA (American Fitness and Aerobics Association). Bottom line, I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE AND WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU 🙂 !
